For now, Tony is staying at the Health Center at the retirement community where we live. Thanks to our great therapy department and his own hard work, he has made a very small amount of progress, but we are both aware that this is going to be a very long-term recovery.
Due to Covid-19 precautions, our campus is closed to visitors and the Health Center is closed to all but patients and staff. I cannot visit Tony in his room, but am very grateful that I am permitted to sit at his window, visit with my dear husband through the screen and even observe his therapy sessions.
Daughter Lisa and son Bart continue to be with us every step of the way, and we have everything we need here. Both Tony and I are grateful for your prayers for his recovery. Please also pray that both of us continue to know the wonderful peace of God that is beyond our human understanding.
