I have a question to ask

June 20, 2019

We recently introduced you to Campolo Scholar Berdy JeanMary – a young leader demonstrating tremendous courage to serve.

Inspired by Tony Campolo and Eastern University, Berdy is actively sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with a commitment to the integration of faith, love, reason, and justice.

Berdy is spending this summer as director of Jeremiah House, an orphanage for boys in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. He will help them learn the skills they need to face the challenges of living in Haiti. He is also working on a project to help single mothers receive loans to start small businesses!

But Berdy has a particular challenge. Because he doesn’t own a vehicle and lives off campus, he hasn’t been able to participate in the Eastern community to its full extent. We are now seeking to raise $10,000 to provide housing for Berdy in the Eastern dormitories.

We know that God has plans to use Berdy. We want to make sure that he is able to integrate fully into the community, build relationships with his fellow students, and access the services that Eastern provides for international students. Would you join us now in the effort to raise $10,000 for Berdy’s housing?

The Campolo Center is proud to have partnered with you to invest in Berdy – a courageous young leader with a clear calling. Thank you and God bless you! Gratefully,

Robert Gauthier
Executive Director

PS. If you share Tony’s concern about the future church, please consider supporting Berdy’s housing needs today. Thank you!
