Life as Mission: Tony’s Call to Action

June 1, 2021

We’ve just concluded another remarkable academic year at the Campolo Center, an unprecedented one due to the challenges of COVID.

We give thanks for God’s goodness and mercies and for you, our friends and supporters – for your faithful prayers and generous partnership that made the story of 2020-2021, the year of COVID, possible.

The final weeks of the semester are always a whirlwind. Students work to complete assignments, study for exams, and finalize plans for summer internships and ministry; Tony and Peggy host family and friends as Tony continues to improve from his stroke with intense physical therapy. I meet with Campolo Scholars and write them letters of recommendation for seminary or graduate school applications, internships and jobs, and scholarships to supplement their Campolo Scholarship. Their stories of service are just beginning, thanks to you!

Scholarship funds remain our biggest strategic need. That’s why we’re grateful to announce a matching gift opportunity exclusively for the Campolo Scholarship Endowment!

In the most recent edition of our Let Me Tell You a Story series, Daryl Drummond shares the impact Tony had on him years ago and why he is supporting Tony and the Campolo Scholars program today. Daryl and his family will match every gift given for Campolo Scholars up to $20,000.
