Do you like a good story?
Tony loves stories. He would say that’s because he wants to live his life imitating Jesus – the greatest storyteller of all.
We certainly have some exciting stories to tell about the ways that our scholars are living out their callings… with empathy, insights, and emphasis on equality and inclusion. Moreover, we’ve been deeply encouraged by the way many have shared their stories of how Tony has impacted their lives, and why they’re supporting the Campolo Center for Ministry. (Click here to read – Let Me Tell You a Story by Paul and Donna Floyd).
A handful of these donors have pooled their resources to contribute $43,000 to offer a matching gift with the hope of raising $86,000 in honor of Tony’s 86th birthday on February 25th.
Would you join this partnership by contributing to make Tony’s vision birthday extra special? Your gift in honor of his 86th birthday will support one of Tony’s most important priorities: providing scholarships to recruit and train the next generation of church leaders.
We currently have 15 Campolo Scholars in training at Eastern University and Palmer Theological Seminary. We are so impressed with these young leaders and pray they can graduate with little or no debt so they can immediately serve the Lord in vocational ministry. Your gift now in honor of Tony’s birthday can make this happen for them and future students.
Now is a great time to give. As a result of the $43,000 matching grant, your gift will be doubled – dollar for dollar – so please, be generous. We are already half-way to this $86,000 goal!
Let’s make Tony Campolo’s 86th birthday celebration one to remember. Thanks for being part of this celebration… and the story that God is writing through his life and the lives of the Campolo Scholars.
