This past month, many of you have celebrated my 86th birthday by choosing to support the Campolo Scholars studying here at Eastern University. I am so grateful. We set a goal to raise $43,000 in matching gifts to support the Campolo Scholarship Fund. And we’re almost there!
As of today, your gifts have totaled $40,500!
I can’t imagine a more encouraging birthday gift than this – the knowledge that the Body of Christ is committed to investing in the future of the Church and its leaders.
The young women and men of the Campolo Center have been called to carry out the same mission that Christ gave to his disciples two thousand years ago. Your prayers and financial support are launching them into the world to declare the Good News of what God has done, and continues to do, through Jesus.
