The Victorian novelist and poet George Meredith once said, “Don’t just count your years, make your years count.” Without a doubt, we can say that Tony Campolo has done just that!
Tony has dedicated his life to the building up of the Church.
He says, “I remember the way that the Lord has used us over the years – you and me – to do good work in His Name and for His Kingdom. I also remember how just six short years ago, you helped launch the Campolo Center for Ministry at Eastern University – and how this work is both preparing key leaders for full-time church ministry and helping them graduate with little or no debt. That is why I am hoping that our mutual concern can be harnessed for long-lasting impact, perhaps even beyond our lifetimes.”
What a legacy! We’re celebrating his birthday this week with a special surprise party and matching gift campaign. (Click here to learn more about how you can help.)
Generous friends of the Campolo Center have agreed to match every gift made in honor of Tony’s birthday for a total of $87,000! Your gift will help provide scholarships to recruit and train the next generation of church leaders.
We hope to see you tomorrow, Friday 25th at 5pm EST for Tony’s Birthday Bash!
